Dr. Muhammad Raza, BDS, DDS, MS, is an associate Periodontist who is here to help our patients with their overall oral health. He is currently serving as the Section Chief of Periodontics at Jamaica Hospital as well. He obtained his BDS (2011) from the University of Health Sciences, Pakistan. He then completed his DDS from NYU followed by a GPR program at Jamaica Hospital, Queens. At that point, he decided he wanted to pursue a career in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. He joined Columbia University to complete his Postdoctoral training, where in addition to clinical experience he obtained his Masters’s degree. Dr. Raza is a Board Certified Periodontist. In addition he is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and numerous other professional organizations. Dr. Raza wants to stay up-to-date with evolving therapies and techniques as they relate to current practices. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife and three children.
