Welcome to our practice. Dr. Krishnan is a specialist in periodontics (gum disease) and implant surgery. We specialize in conservative and surgical treatment of gum disease including gum graft surgery, laser assisted periodontal surgery as well as dental implants.

On your First Visit

·         Please bring your referral slip and x-rays from your referring dentist and bring any forms or insurance cards with you to the appointment.

·         A list of medications you are currently taking.
(please note that you can fill out your patient registration and medical history form online).

Prior to your initial visit to the office

·         Please notify the office if you have a medical condition or concern prior to your treatment (e.g. artificial heart valves or joints, heart murmurs requiring premedication, severe diabetes, blood thinners or poorly controlled high blood pressure).

·         If your referring dentist has taken digital x-rays, you may request that they be emailed/forwarded to us.

·         Please provide your dental insurance information if applicable

Please Note: All patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the consultation appointment.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

On your first visit to our office, the doctor will review your medical and dental history, the reason for which you have been referred and your expectations for treatment. A thorough periodontal examination will be performed, additional x-rays will be taken if needed followed by a review of our findings and presentation of our treatment recommendations.

Throughout the treatment process, we will communicate directly with your general dentist regarding our findings and recommendations, update your progress and coordinate your continuing care.
